Application
The material 1.4005 is a free-cutting steel grade whose machinability has been improved by the targeted addition of sulfur. It can be used in moderately aggressive media and is recommended for parts, which are surface-treated prior to heat treatment and finishing. Application: Plant engineering, mechanical engineering, structural parts in water and steam for machining, such as screws, nuts, bolts and similar parts
