Application

The material 1.4435 is a stainless stable austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steel with low carbon content for high requirements on microstructural homogeneity. Type homogeneous and fully austenitic weldable. Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 400°C. Applications: medical technology, chemical industry, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical industry, plant engineering, welded parts of increased chemical resistance in the pulp, rayon, textile and artificial silk industries.
