Application
The material 1.4462 is a stainless ferritic - austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steel with nitrogen addition. High corrosion resistance especially against stress corrosion cracking in chloride containing solutions and good strength properties. Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 300°C. Applications: plant engineering, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, apparatus engineering, chemicals, power plant engineering, aerospace, offshore, power generation, rail vehicles, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering.
