Application
The material 1.4873 is an austenitic valve steel. The Cr-Ni-Si-W steel has good mechanical properties and high resistance to hot corrosion. Suitable for medium-heavy engines. Application: mechanical engineering, apparatus engineering, toolmaking, highly stressed exhaust valves in aircraft and racing engines.
