Application

The material 1.4910 is a stainless austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel with nitrogen and boron addition. This grade has very good high-temperature properties due to the addition of boron. Boron protects against grain growth at elevated temperatures and improves creep rupture properties. Applications: mechanical engineering, apparatus engineering, shipbuilding, chemical industry, pressure vessel and steam boiler construction, chemical industry.
