Description
The material 1.4980 / A286 is a high-temperature, chemically resistant, age-hardenable, austenitic steel. Scale resistant in air up to approx. 800°C. Applications are: Power plant engineering, mechanical engineering, power generation, aerospace, parts for gas turbines and engines such as rotors, disks, shafts, screws, intermediate rings, fittings, housings.
